NaNoWriMo

I was thinking about joining [National Novel Writing Month](http://www.nanowrimo.org/), but I decided it would be silly to invest so much time in something like that while I still have a project like Soft Landing going on. Then, as I was falling asleep it hit me: SL is just reaching the point where we need to get writing the story in earnest. I should use NaNoWriMo to get the story of Soft Landing assembled in novel form! It’ll be rushed and crappy, but it’ll be a baseline for us to construct the actual in-game script. I have no idea whether I’ll make the 50,000-word goal, but I am optimistic that this exercise will help us get the story really going somewhere.

No points given for ending with “And they all lived happily ever after.”

Extra bonus points for being able to give a canonical reason for the importance of giant floating peaches.
